The Game Plan

Nearly every person that we work with comes into the office with an IRA in their portfolio that they’ve been contributing to for years. Even though it’s a popular savings vehicle, we hear a lot of questions about the best ways to utilize it.

We want to help clear up the common questions people ask when discussing an IRA. That’s what we’ll do on this episode of the Retirement Game Plan podcast with Mark Truttman.

Have you ever wondered what type of return you should be getting in your IRA or whether you should be contributing to a traditional or a Roth? These two questions alone cover much of the conversations we have on this topic, and they’re great questions. There are many different ways to reach your retirement goals so understanding every investment you’re making is crucial for success.

And that takes us to the other side of this show. Along with answering these FAQs, Mark will share a couple investments that he often presents to clients. The first being annuities, which can generate predictable income in retirement and work as part of your IRA. The other being Indexed Universal Life (IUL) Insurance. This is another route to go if you plan on leaving money to a spouse or loved one and want to guarantee a certain amount rather than worrying about the ups and downs of the market.

We hope this show will provide you with some new information and help you understand IRAs a little better. Please reach out if you have any additional questions regarding this topic or want to discuss your financial goals.
